Everything You Need to Know Before You Arrive

Hosted By

Saudi Society of Pharmacoeconomics & Outcomes Research

In collaboration with the ISPOR Saudi Arabia Chapter.

Dates

June 25 – 27, 2026

Thursday – Saturday · In-Person.

Location

Holiday Inn Riyadh Al Malaz Hotel

Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Registration Fee

2,500 SAR

Per individual · Includes all materials, lunch & networking.

Prerequisites

Basic understanding of public health concepts

Participants are required to register for SAS OnDemand before the workshop. Detailed instructions will be shared upon registration.

Future PathwayThis workshop serves as a prerequisite and foundation for the upcoming workshop on Advanced Analytical Methods and Economic Modeling.
Learning Outcomes

What Participants Will Be Able to Do

01

Conduct & interpret statistical analyses using SAS / R

Tailored for HEOR studies and local Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions in the Saudi context.

02

Evaluate descriptive, regression & survival models

Apply each method within the framework of observational studies and Real-World Evidence (RWE) generated locally.

03

Analyze highly skewed cost & utility data

Inform value-based healthcare and formulary decisions using non-parametric techniques and appropriate GLM link functions.

04

Critically assess observational data for confounding & bias

Support evidence-based local public health policies through methods such as Propensity Score Matching.
